Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) joins forces with The Center for Cultural Power! RPM activates musicians by giving them knowledge and practical tools to uplift causes they’re passionate about. It was founded in 2005 by musicians, managers and advisors from bands including Pearl Jam, The Beastie Boys and R.E.M., with the aim of sharing best practices and lessons learned from their own activism and philanthropy. The Center's Favianna Rodriguez and RPM co-founder Erin Potts go way back. It’s an honor to be entrusted to move RPM’s legacy forward. Through our new partnership, we’ll expand our artist network and create space for artists of all mediums to build undeniable cultural power. At this cultural and political moment that's ripe for change, artists can transform our world. We bring our creative power to help people imagine what a just world can look, sound and feel like. And, we bring joy to the spaces we enter and the people we connect through our work. Let's do this!
