Julie Kuwabara (she/her) is an actor, comedy sketch writer/performer, and cultural strategist. As an actor, she has partnered with Yale Repertory, San Francisco Playhouse, Shotgun Players, Central Works, Magic Theatre, and Bindlestiff Studio. She is a member of Granny Cart Gangstas, an all Asian-American comedy sketch group, her work as a writer and performer has been featured at SF SketchFest, UCB Filipino AF (LA), Femprovisor (Sacramento), and Femmefest (SF). As a cultural strategist, her work is to focus on holding space for growth and mindset shifts. Empowering fellow BIPOC artists to embrace their narratives, in creating future world values we can not live without. Her work includes Oakland Futures, Creative Entrepreneurship, and Border Narratives. She continues to partner with organizations and individuals in the cultural strategy and art spaces.
