Anna Laflin

Development Associate

Anna Laflin (she/her) is a painter, sculptor, and activist from Houston, Texas. Prior to her Development Associate role at the Center for Cultural Power, she was the Development Grants Manager at the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture (NALAC) and works with foundations, corporate sponsors and individual donors to build lasting partnerships that ensure the long-term sustainability of the Latinx arts field. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Studio Art and Business Administration from Trinity University. Her work in arts administration is guided by a strong commitment to community building, empowerment and equitable access. As a multi-ethnic artist and advocate, Anna is passionate about breaking the glass ceiling in the business and art world for women of color and hopes that through her work she can help facilitate the practice of intercultural relationship development to build shared power, understanding, and solidarity across cultures.
