Today we honor frontline immigrant and workers of color, whose hard work we have to thank for the food on our plates, mail delivered to our homes, and access to necessary goods & medical care. Labor Day is more important in today’s political moment than ever before. The current pandemic & public health crisis has truly revealed the ugly, exploitative nature of capitalism. Working class people are essential and deserve dignity, justice, and protection.

This is a pivotal moment for workers rights that will impact millions of everyday people. Labor justice is inseparable from racial justice, immigrant justice and climate justice. Our leadership in this current moment has the power to manifest future visions of equity where everyone can thrive.
