Mariana Moscoso

Associate Director of Artist Leadership
Mariana Aq'ab'al Moscoso (they/them/theirs) is a nonbinary indigenous queer of detribalized Achi Mayan and Afro-indigenous roots living in unceded Nisanan land. They are a liberation doula, facilitator, storyteller, digital artist, graphic designer, and zine maker that centers Maya Cosmovision. Mariana is the child of courageous parents fleeing imperialist wars, and they are a solo parent of a magically creative daughter. Mariana is a co-visionary of Toj + Tijax: The Ritual of Myth Making, an indigenous queer healing space, while also working as the Associate Director of Artist Leadership at The Center for Cultural Power.
