Pay us equitably, no exceptions! This International Women’s Day, we’re here for women and femme creatives taking up space, building up their communities, telling their stories, and being compensated fairly for it. The success of women and femmes in the art and culture sector is a much-needed disruption to the status quo, and it’s about damn time we smash the systems holding womxn back. As we work together towards equity in the industry, let’s remember who we’re fighting for: womxn of color, trans womxn, and femmes all over the world.
